With the inauguration of Dimicro, the city hall will regulate micro-industries that do not have a license for installation and production in the city

Manaus(AM)- The mayor of Manaus, David Almeida, alongside the holders of the municipal secretariats for Entrepreneurship, Work and Innovation (Semtepi), Radyr Jr., and Urban Cleaning (Semulsp), Sabá Reis, received, this Wednesday morning (24 ), the superintendent of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (Suframa), Bosco Saraiva, to oversee the last details of the construction of the Micro and Small Business District of the Municipality of Manaus (Dimicro), in the Brasileirinho branch, in the East Zone of the capital. The space will be inaugurated in June and will serve as an incubator for 29 micro-enterprises.

During the visit, David Almeida highlighted the partnership with the federal agency, since the new municipal structure is located in an area provided by Suframa.

“We took the opportunity this morning to come to Dimicro, here in the Suframa area, with superintendent Bosco Saraiva and secretaries Radyr Jr. and Sabá Reis, where we are finalizing preparations for delivery to our entrepreneurs. Here will be an incubator with 29 entrepreneurs, with the support of the city hall and, now, of Suframa. This space will be fundamental for these workers to be able to develop their companies within a comfortable and adequate structure”,

emphasized the head of the municipal executive.

According to information from Semtepi, with the inauguration of Dimicro, the city hall will regulate micro-industries that do not have a license for installation and production in the city.

Work on the space is in the process of completing the infrastructure in the external area, such as parking, sidewalks and the electrical part (assembly and installation of the substation). Inside, the auditorium and decompression and training rooms are being finished.

For Bosco Saraiva, the current municipal management is to be congratulated for the initiative, aimed at the growth of small entrepreneurs. In addition, he stressed that, in the beginning, Dimicro will generate more than 400 direct jobs.

“It is a fantastic space and we hope that, in June, we will be able, together with the City of Manaus and the federal government, to deliver Dimicro to 29 micro-enterprises. It’s a fantastic project, with a lovely structure, with all licenses already duly released. This is a ‘goal’ that the city hall is scoring in the city of Manaus”,
