State deputy Júnior Favacho (MDB), president of the Agriculture and Supply Commission (CAB) of the Legislative Assembly of Amapá (Alap), continues on a journey across the country in search of successful experiences and partners to boost and strengthen agribusiness in Amapá . This week, the parliamentarian was in the city of Marianópolis, in Tocantins, one of the states that most expanded agribusiness.

During the visit, Junior Favacho met with Mayor Isaias Piagem to discuss successful experiences and align partnerships with actions that can be implemented in the state of Amapá.

“We were with the mayor of Marianópolis to discuss an important issue, which is our agribusiness. Tocantins is a great example of states where great GDP growth can be observed, and it was agribusiness that made this possible. Why can’t Amapá follow this same example? This is what we are fighting for,” highlighted Júnior Favacho.

“My journey through Brazil aims to seek successful experiences and partners to bring new ideas and agendas to Amapá to be discussed with other deputies and other powers”, he said.

The parliamentarian expressed his gratitude and congratulated the mayor for the work he has been doing in the region.

“We are in a big fight in Amapá, but we are advancing every day, seeing agribusiness develop, transform lives, generating food for everyone. I want to thank Mayor Isaias Piagem, and wish him much success and all the best for his municipality and his management. This is what our Brazil needs”, concluded
