Special return

The competition aims to strengthen MMA as a sport in the city and promote opportunities and visibility for fighters. But for Gerônimo Mondragon, 43 years old and with more than 20 years in the fighting world, the experience will be inside the cage on this return to Manaus.

“It’s an honor to return to Manaus. My last fight here was in 2018. As everyone knows, I’m not a guy who holds back a lot, wanting to take the fight to the ground. With me, she gets hit in the head. Either I leave loaded or the guy who’s going to fight me leaves. So, my fight promises a lot of blood and a lot of beatings. I own the belt, I never lost in Manaus and I won’t lose now”, said Mondragon.

“For over 16 years, Mr. Cage has revealed the greatest fighters in the State of Amazonas, especially those who are in the UFC, and we have already exported several outstanding competitors to international events. From Manaus City Hall, we strengthen the visibility and notable importance of this sport in Manaus”, invites the CEO of Mr. Cage, Samir Nadaf.
