Macapá City Hall, through the Municipal Department of Sports and Leisure (Semel), announced this Thursday (25) registrations for the 28 sports on February 4th, when the capital celebrates 266 years of foundation.
Macapá’s anniversary will be celebrated with lots of sport in all corners of the city, tourist and sports complexes will be stages for the most varied sports. In addition to the street race, there will be sand volleyball, cycling, basketball, wheelchair basketball, futsal, footvolley, football, skateboarding, futmesa, futlama, cycling tours, among others.
Some of the modalities will have awards with medals, trophies and cash values. This is the second year that the city’s anniversary has received extensive programming for all audiences.
MACAPÁ STREET RACE 266 YEARS OLD
On the same day, there will be the traditional street race, with a 7-kilometer route. The sporting event is part of the city’s official anniversary program. The race will have a podium for the finishers and cash prizes.
The kits will be delivered on February 1st and 2nd (Thursday and Friday), from 9am to 6pm, at Complexo Esportivo Glicério Marques (Av. Mendonça Júnior, 1502, center)
