Minister Silvio Costa Filho (Ports and Airports) meets this Monday (5) in São Paulo with the president of Fiesp (Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo), Josué Gomes, to present the investment portfolio for the port sector .

The minister must talk about leases and concessions in the sector and also detail investments that the government plans to make in the area. “We will have a large volume of investments for 2024,” he says.

“There will be more than R$8 billion in new leases and concessions, R$5 billion in renewals and extensions of lease contracts and R$6 billion in investments in terminals for private use, generating a volume of investments in the order of R$20 billion”.

According to him, the volume of investments by 2026 should exceed R$55 billion on these fronts, in a policy that, he states, has guidance from President Lula (PT) to “strengthen the Brazilian port sector, especially agribusiness, and permanent dialogue with the national productive sector”.
