President Lula (PT) received this Monday (25) at Palácio do Planalto the chairman of the board of the Indian company Tata Sons, Natarajan Chandrasekaran.
Owner of Jaguar Land Rover since 2008, the Tata group has investments both in the automotive sector (including the production of electric vehicles) and in other segments — such as wind and solar energy, biofuels and other segments.
According to the Brazilian government, company representatives visit Brazil to “prospect for new business”. The Indian executive said that the group currently has 5 thousand employees in Brazil and that it plans to open a new plant in Londrina (PR), in the area of information technology, which could employ around 2.5 thousand employees.
