After government officials considered asking for the preventive arrest of former president Jair Bolsonaro, for having spent two days at the Hungarian Embassy in Brasília, the former president’s allies questioned “whether it became a crime to go to the embassy in Brazil?”.

Carmelo Neto (PL), councilor of Fortaleza and supporter of the former president, attributed the case to “yet another new narrative” by the press consortium against Bolsonaro, in addition to the cases of “jewelry, vaccination card, Yanomami, whale disturbance, case Marielle and furniture from Alvorada”. “Now, they say that Bolsonaro hid in the embassy to avoid being arrested. It’s crazy!” he said.

Faced with the repercussions over his stay at the Hungris Embassy, ​​the former president’s son, Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP), published a list of actions that Bolsonaro is prevented from carrying out in Brazil. “Bolsonaro cannot leave the country.
