The coach of the men’s football team, Dorival Júnior, announced this Monday (11) the call-up of three players for the friendlies against England and Spain: goalkeeper Léo Jardim, from Vasco, defender Fabrício Bruno, from Flamengo, and striker Galeno, from Porto (Portugal).

The trio was called up to replace three athletes cut by injury: Ederson, goalkeeper from Manchester City (England), Marquinhos, defender from PSG (France), and Gabriel Martinelli, from Arsenal (England).

“These are athletes who were already being watched and are in a position to fight directly for a position in these two initial friendlies”, declared Dorival Júnior.

The Brazilian team will play two friendlies in March, the first matches under the command of Dorival Júnior: against England, on the 23rd at Wembley Stadium, and against Spain, on the 26th at the Santiago Bernabéu.
