The coach of the men’s football team, Dorival Junior, announced this Monday (11) the call-up of three players for the friendlies against England and Spain: the goalkeeper Leo Jardim, from Vasco, the defender Fabrício Bruno, from Flamengo, and the striker Galen, of Porto (Portugal).

The trio was called up to replace three athletes cut by injury: Ederson, goalkeeper of Manchester City (England), Marquinhos, defender of PSG (France), and Gabriel Martinelli, from Arsenal (England).

“These are athletes who were already being watched and are in a position to fight directly for a position in these two initial friendlies”declared Dorival Júnior.

The Brazilian team will play two friendlies in March, the first matches under the command of Dorival Júnior: against England, on the 23rd at Wembley Stadium, and against Spain, on the 26th at the Santiago Bernabéu.
