Obstacle racing offers the experience for children to have their first contact with the world of street racing
Manaus (AM) – The obstacle race is back, the action aimed at children up to 14 years old, is scheduled for January 28th and registration for the race can be done via the website with limited places.
The kids marathon starts the year in a new location, it will take place in the parking lot of the Ponta Negra shopping mall, and will have routes of 50 to 300 meters. On average, the event receives an audience of a thousand people, including children and guardians.
More than an event, the obstacle race offers the experience for children to have their first contact with the world of street racing in a playful and fun way, in addition to being able to live this special moment alongside their families.
“We always say that the kids marathon is much more than a children’s race, it is a special moment for families. Our objective is to bring important values to the growth of these children, and encouraging them to practice sports activities from an early age is one of them”, explained Jaqueline Remigio, founder and organizer of Marathon Kids.
With registrations sold out in all previous editions, those interested in participating in the obstacle race will be able to purchase their tickets in an exclusive promotional lot via WhatsApp 92 8124-0910 until January 19th, for the value of R$ 80 or the athlete kit for R$ 105.
The athlete kit consists of 1 Squeeze, 1 official event shirt, 1 bib number and towel. Post-event, registrants receive a participation medal, hydration and exclusive fruits for the athletes.
The organization will distribute water to hydrate athletes on the competition track. The categories are divided by age group into groups of:
1 to 4 years – 50 meters;
5 to 6 years – 100 meters;
7 to 8 years old – 150 meters;
9 to 10 years – 200 meters;
11 to 14 years old 300 meters.
