Premieres this Thursday (4), on Sheet, the No Corre column, by journalist Paulo Vieira. In space, he will talk about the world of racing, highlighting topics such as races, circuits inside and outside metropolises and scientific news. There will be six columns per month on the newspaper’s website.

“I’m going to talk about the strangely large universe that surrounds the amateur runner. Sneakers, reasonable ones and overpriced ones, races, clothes, running advisors, beautiful places to run”, says Vieira.

He says that the audience he seeks to reach are mainly amateur runners, beginners in physical activity and even sedentary people.

A runner since he was a teenager, Vieira has maintained the Jornalistas que Correm website for around a decade. The publication has around 60 thousand followers on Facebook.

He also has participated in ten marathons on his resume. Submitting yourself to an exhaustive test is a fetish, he says. “Marathoners should run dressed from head to toe in vinyl, like other types of fetishists”, he jokes.

A Carioca resident in São Paulo, Vieira studied journalism at PUC-SP, was deputy editor of Ilustrada at Sheet and accumulates tickets for vehicles such as UOL, Placar, Jornal da Tarde, Veja and Valor. He was also editor-in-chief of Editora Abril’s Viagem e Tourism magazine between 2010 and 2013.

The journalist also participates in the Sunday program Fôlego, on Bandeirantes radio.
