Janja scolds the master of ceremonies during an event at Planalto – 07/12/2023 – Panel

First lady Rosângela da Silva, known as Janja, showed irritation and scolded the master of ceremonies who was conducting an event to award researchers with the National Order of Scientific Merit at the Planalto Palace this Wednesday (12).

After the announcement of the name of one of the winners, Janja made an upset expression, went to the pulpit and said “you haven’t even delivered the banner yet, hold on a little, my friend”. She made reference to the fact that the person honored at the time was still on stage and had not yet received the medal from President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).

At the ceremony, the government honored researchers who had their decoration withdrawn, in 2021, by then-president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) due to work that contradicted federal management positions, such as Adele Benzaken and Marcus Vinícius Guimarães de Lacerda.
