Inter was denounced at TJD-RS for the confusion that followed the defeat in the semifinal of Gauchão, on penalties, to Caxias. There is still no confirmed date for the trial.

Colorado was denounced in items I and II of article 213 of the CBJD (Brazilian Code of Sports Justice), which deals with “failing to take measures capable of preventing and repressing disorders, field invasion and throwing objects on the field of play”.

Item I talks about the seriousness of the acts. “When the disorder, invasion or throwing of an object is of high gravity or causes damage to the progress of the sporting event, the practice entity may be punished with the loss of field command from one to ten matches, events or equivalent, when participating in the official competition”.

In the second item it is mentioned that it is possible to punish visitors when they participate in the acts.

In addition to the possibility of losing field command from one to ten matches, Colorado can still pay a fine of R$ 100 to R$ 100 thousand, if found guilty.

All 10 expelled in the match (seven from Inter and three from Caxias) will also be judged for their actions.

Any punishment applied is restricted to State-wide competitions. That is, the sentence will be served in the 2024 Gaucho Championship.

The trend is that the trial will take place next week. Regardless of the result, it will be appealed.
