The “6 Weeks Challenge 2023” sports challenge brings together people looking for the ideal shape

Manaus (AM) – The collective activities of the “6 Weeks Challenge 2023” of Formula Academia and CrossFit Ponta Negra begin this Saturday (7), with “Insanos Day”, a test where registrants will participate in classes in Indoor Cycling (cycling indoors) ), Running (treadmill running) and Cross Training (functional training).

The teams will also have Aeroboxing (aerobics with boxing) and Jump (trampoline exercise) classes. Each team can spend around 15 minutes on each activity, at an intense pace. At least 10 members from each team will need to attend Insanos Day to score points. The test will have a referee, who will take photos of the components with the teacher.

The “6 Weeks Challenge 2023” sports challenge brings together people in search of the ideal shape, and aims to encourage participants to adopt new habits, through a balanced diet and regular exercise, all accompanied by physical education and nutrition professionals. More than 450 participate in the challenge this year. “The ultimate goal is health. Body aesthetics is a complement”, says Formula Academia coordinator, José Roggero.

The event takes place over six weeks. During this period, participants perform various group activities, competing with different teams. In the “6 Weeks Challenge”, each team is coordinated by one of the physical education professionals from Formula and CrossFit Ponta Negra.

Teams are made up of 10 to 20 members. The challenge program includes four main events: “Insanos Day” (fights, bike and gymnastics), which takes place this Saturday (07); “Beach Tennis Championship”, October 14th; “Murphy Day” (crossfit exercises), on October 22nd; and “Running Day” (group runs), on November 5th. Daily activities carried out according to individual goals are also part of the schedule.

Project participants are entitled to two bioimpedance tests (a procedure that measures body composition) and nutritional monitoring, all to indicate the best strategies to achieve the desired results. The teams that achieve the best results at the end of the competition win a series of prizes.

Solidarity Action

Formula Academia, in partnership with Emporium Rodrigues, will replace the amount of fat lost by participants with food until the end of the challenge. According to José Roggero, in this way, in addition to having better health, participants will be able to be motivated by solidarity and support for people.
