In yet another public policy action to strengthen the primary and productive sector of Amapá, governor Clécio Luís signed this Friday, 20th, at the Palácio do Setentrião, in Macapá, the decree regulating the new guidelines to reduce bureaucracy and accelerate the land regularization process in the state.

The initiative will benefit small, medium and large rural producers, who seek records of the lands where they operate in the development of the agricultural sector, in addition to guaranteeing new means for the Amapá Land Institute (Amapá Terras) to operate.

“With this decree we take another step to expand the possibilities for farmers and producers to accelerate the regularization process, which we are already doing in Amapá, after the 12 plots of land that came into our hands, passed by the Union, were registered. And, if more arrives tomorrow, we will register it here, so that the land does not belong to the state, but to those who are actually already there. What we want is that, in addition to the 54 records delivered, we reach many more by the end of the year”, emphasized the governor.
Through the decree, the producer of up to four fiscal modules, from 50 to 70 hectares, will be able to request the Ownership Registration Declaration (DRP), through self-declaration, which becomes part of the regularization process or through an accredited external agent.

“What used to be done only by state technicians, now the family farmer will be able to do it through self-declaration. As the state already knows that he is actually there in the field, producing, he signs a document recognizing the activity he carries out. There is no need for an inspection and at the same time we will be able to issue the DRP to guarantee access to credit lines and also environmental licensing. Another way will be through agents who will be accredited by Amapá Terras”, explained Reneval Tupinambá, CEO of Amapá Terras.
