Governor Clécio meets with the Minister of Cities to discuss development projects in Amapá – News of Brazil

This Wednesday, 20th, the governor of Amapá, Clécio Luís met with the Minister of Cities, Jader Son, in Brasília-DF, to deal with projects to be carried out within the new Growth Acceleration Program (PAC) Seleções. The State Government proposed initiatives to the Union with investments of around R$1.9 billion in projects.

“We presented to the minister what we registered with the PAC Seleções. Many of these projects will go through the Ministry of Cities. Minister Jader Filho has a very important relationship with our state. We are working together, aligning strategies to transform these projects into works that improve the lives of the people and our Amapá”, highlighted the governor.

The Ministry of Cities dealt with initiatives that can be undertaken by the Federal Government, in works involving housing, slum upgrading and urban mobility.

“We talk about these important projects not only for Amapá but for the entire Northern Region of the country. Following President Lula’s guidance, we worked with the states so that the PAC could be resumed and, obviously, Amapá could not be left out. Count on our work so that Amapá can develop more and more”stated the Minister of Cities, Jader Filho.

In addition to the governor, the Infrastructure Secretaries, David Covre; Planning, Lucas Abrahao; from the Representation of the Government of Amapá in Brasília, Aziel Araújo; the deputy secretaries of Cities, Kelson Vaz; and Housing, Max Yataco.
