The American magazine Forbes, a reference in content about business and economics, published on Wednesday (31) a list of the 30 most valuable soccer clubs on the planet.

The most expensive team on the list for the second straight year is La Liga side Real Madrid, which is worth $6.07 billion. Manchester United of the English Premier League is in second place with US$6 billion and Barcelona of the Spanish La Liga rounds out the top three with US$5.51 billion.

There are no Brazilian clubs on this year’s list.

The ranking includes seven clubs from the United States. According to the magazine, Los Angeles FC, Los Angeles Galaxy and Atlanta United are among the 20 most valuable soccer teams.

LAFC is the best positioned, in 17th place on the list. The club is worth $1 billion, while the Galaxy and Atlanta are ranked 18th and 19th respectively. Galaxy is worth $925 million and Atlanta is worth $850 million.

Among MLS (Major League Soccer) teams, LAFC is generating the highest revenue (US$ 116 million), while Galaxy has the cheapest operating revenue (US$ 4 million). Atlanta generates $81 million in revenue and costs $6 million to operate.
