Flamengo’s fourth game for the Campeonato Carioca outside Rio de Janeiro will be against Sampaio Corrêa, on January 31, a Wednesday, in the fifth round of the Guanabara Cup. Ferj confirmed that the match will be at the Mangueirão stadium, in Belém, at 9:30 pm.

Until then, Rubro-Negro had already confirmed clashes at Arena Amazônia, in Manaus; in Almeidão, in João Pessoa; and at Arena das Dunas, in Natal. These capitals have not hosted Mengo for years.

Ferj has so far only detailed the times and locations of the first five rounds of the Taça Guanabara, the classification phase of Carioca, in which the 12 teams play against each other. The four best advance to the semifinals and define Carioca between March 10th and April 7th.

Between January 18th and 30th, Tite’s men will be in Orlando to carry out part of the pre-season. Thus, an alternative team will be used in the first rounds of Carioca.
