Federal government approves the inclusion of another 428 civil servants from the former Union Territories – News of Brazil

The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI), through its Special Commission for the former Federal Territories of Rondônia, Amapá and Roraima (CEEXT), published, this Monday (26), four more ordinances with the names of 428 civil servants who had their requests for transposition to the Union’s staff granted. From Amapá, more than 200 transpositions were published.

In just fourteen months of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s new administration, CEEXT has already approved the inclusion of 5,766 civil servants from the former Federal Territories. The commission makes up the structure of the MGI Labor Relations Secretariat and is the body responsible for analyzing and judging processes.

Transposition into the Union framework is constitutionally foreseen for employees of the extinct Federal Territories and is carried out in accordance with the proof and verification standardized by Law 13,681/2018, which established the transposition rules in accordance with constitutional amendments EC 79 and EC 98.

Transpositions in 2023

In 2023, the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services, qualified 5,338 civil servants from the former Territories of Rondônia, Roraima and Amapá, interested in transposition to the Union. Of this total, at least 3,411 civil servants have already been included in the list payment by the Directorate for Centralization of Services for Inactive, Pensioners and Extinct Bodies (DECIPEX).

The total number of processes completed in 2023 is almost triple (293.1% higher) than in 2022, when the transpositions of 1,358 servers were authorized. In addition to judging the processes, several visits were made by the MGI to the Personnel Management Directorates of the three states involved, to align efforts with the local work teams of the personnel divisions. Plenary meetings were also held with associations and entities representing civil servants and those interested in the transposition processes.

Commission on Former Territories

Established by Decree 11,751, of October 20, 2023, CEEXT is responsible for analyzing option requests and documentation presented by civil servants and employees of the direct, autonomous and foundational administration of the Executive Branch, as well as by the military. The Commission also expresses its opinion on the regularity of the inclusion of the opting party in the Union’s disappearing framework and the classification of opting civil servants and military personnel.

In the period from 2015 to 2023, approximately 71 thousand processes were analyzed, effectively transposing them to the Union’s extinguished framework, to date, more than 16,579 interested parties.
