Manaus (AM) — The City of Manaus, through the Municipal Institute of Urban Mobility (IMMU), in partnership with the Municipal Institute of Traffic and Transport of Iranduba (IMTTI), promoted, on Monday (26), a meeting in Iranduba to facilitate partnership for urban mobility in the metropolitan region of Manaus. The main objective of the meeting was the institutional alignment between the two cities, aiming to improve the inspection and monitoring of traffic and transport in the region.

“We are focused on developing innovative and effective solutions that meet the specific needs of our communities. I firmly believe that this joint effort will not only optimize traffic between Manaus and Iranduba, but will also significantly improve the quality of life of our citizens. We are committed to making our region an example of efficient and sustainable urban mobility”,

informed the CEO of IMMU, Paulo Henrique Martins.

During the meeting, strategies were discussed to optimize circulation and integration between the transport systems of Manaus and Iranduba. The initiative is part of a joint effort to address challenges related to urban mobility and provide road circulation in municipalities.

For the mayor of Iranduba, Augusto Ferraz, the partnership is important, because in addition to benefiting drivers and users of public transport, the city’s urban mobility will bring more safety and fluidity.

“The collaboration between the two cities promises to bring substantial advances to the local population. Mayor David Almeida is fully involved, ensuring that the solutions developed are specially adapted to the needs of the region. The partnership is a clear example of how cooperation and commitment from municipal leaders can result in direct benefits for citizens, significantly improving transport infrastructure and quality of life in the metropolitan region,” said Ferraz.

The meeting marks an important step in the search for joint solutions to mobility challenges in the region, paving the way for future partnerships and integrated projects that benefit not only Manaus and Iranduba, but the entire metropolitan region.
