Recipient athletes and para-athletes have until February 23rd to deliver the payments signed in the contract

The Government of Amazonas extends the deadline for rendering accounts of the counterparts signed in the contract, of those benefiting from the Bolsa Sport Estadual 2023, until February 23rd. The financial sponsorship coordinated by the State Secretariat for Sports and Leisure (Sedel) aims to encourage athletes and para-athletes in more than 30 sports.

“The State Sports Grant is a valuable tool for the growth and excellence of our athletes. The sponsorship not only strengthened the sporting scene in the capital, but also extended its influence to the interior of the state”, said Jorge Oliveira, secretary of Sedel.

Accountability includes the delivery of a report containing photographic documents, printed materials and other elements that prove the considerations required in the contract. The documentation must be delivered to the Sedel protocol sector, located in the Vila Olímpica de Manaus, on Avenida Pedro Teixeira, Dom Pedro, central-west zone. Opening hours are from 8:30 am to 12 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5 pm, from Monday to Thursday, and until 2 pm on Fridays.

Failure to comply may result in the refund of the financial amount and the impediment of participation in future sponsorships from the Government of Amazonas, placing the athlete or para-athlete in a situation of default in the Integrated Administration System (AFI), of the State Finance Secretariat (Sefaz) .
