Manaus (AM) — The mayor of Manaus, David Almeida, has a new leader in the Manaus City Council (CMM), councilor Eduardo Alfaia. He replaces councilor Fransuá, who has been in office since 2022.
“My gratitude to Fransuá, who did a wonderful job leading the government leadership, especially in the coordination to maintain the good progress of work between parliament and municipal management, and which resulted in the approval of important projects, programs, various measures in for the city and population of Manaus”,
highlights the mayor.
David Almeida adds that councilor Fransuá will now join the group of vice-leaders, along with councilors Gilmar Nascimento, Luís Mitoso and Raulzinho.
And he concludes: “To the board, to the new leader Eduardo Alfaia, an excellent year of work, in this mission of maintaining a respectful and harmonious relationship between the City Council and City Hall of Manaus”.
