Before officially presenting Fabinho Soldado as the club’s football executive, Corinthiansthis Saturday (10), football director Rubens Gomes questioned the journalists present about the color of the clothes.

“There’s no one in green here today, right? You could not come in green here at the Corinthians press conferences. It would be really cool,” said Rubão.

The Corinthians director asked that journalists and other professionals present at Fabinho Soldado’s press conference not to wear the color green, related to rival Palmeiras.

The reporter was present at Soldado’s presentation and did not notice the color green in the press professionals’ clothes or accessories.

Last Tuesday (6), during the presentation of reinforcement Rodrigo Garro, a journalist appeared wearing green pants. In a conversation after the press conference with the athlete, Rubão expressed dissatisfaction with the communicator’s attire and made a comment.

HISTORIC

Rubão was already vice-president of Corinthians in 2007 and caused controversy at the time by firmly asking the club’s employees to work in green.

“I can’t prohibit anyone from coming to work wearing green or yellow. But, if they do, I’ll make a comment that I don’t want them to come wearing green. At least the people who work in the football department, I would like them not to come wearing green”, declared the current director to Folha de S.Paulo at the time.
