Coach minimizes criticism and says that “Athletico never gives up”

After the seventh draw of the Athletico in the Ligga Arena in 12 games under the command of Wesley Carvalhothe coach minimized criticism from the fans and said that everyone remains confident in their place in the Libertadores 2024.

The red-black commander once again said that everyone at the club remains confident of a place in the Libertadores in 2024. With the draw, Hurricane is in seventh positionnow with 50 points, three behind Atlético-MG, sixth placed, but still playing in the round.

“We continue to believe, we will never give up. Athletico never gives up. Athletico is like that, I think the same way, and so do the athletes. So, we will continue fighting. There is an “if”. But if Atlético (Mineiro) doesn’t win tomorrow and we win an away game and three more games, so we score 61 points (62, actually). So, we have to believe. You can never throw in the towel before the facts happen. The least If we have any chance, we will fight until the end, both the club and the athletes and staff”, he stated.

Wesley Carvalho analyzes possible unmarked penalty for Athletico
