Manaus (AM) – The Cineclube de Arte will hold this Saturday (07/15) the “Mostra de Cineastas Amazonenses”, at 6:30 pm, at Cine Teatro Guarany. The exhibition will feature 11 short films with genres ranging from comedy and animation to documentary and suspense. Admission is free and the indicative classification is for 10 years.

The program aims to honor the work of Amazonian producers, valuing art and regional cinema, and stimulating this same feeling in the population.

With this initiative, support is offered to all professionals involved, whether in the cast, technical team, and also revealing many talents from our region, which keeps alive the passion for cinema produced with its own resources and independently.

On the occasion, works by filmmakers Erismar Fernandes, Ari Santos, Roberto Hades, Davi Marinho, Lucas Melkids, Juan Lopes, Kennedy Costa, Álvaro Smont and George Augusto will be exhibited. Filmmaker Ari Souza, who directed the documentary “Parque Amazonense”, told a little about the importance of screening for film producers.

“It is always rewarding to participate in a short film exhibition, because the public has the opportunity to get to know our work, and it is important for us filmmakers who often work with limited budgets and do everything ourselves.”

The Show of Amazonian Filmmakers of the Cineclube de Arte is an achievement of the Government of Amazonas through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, with the aim of increasing the population’s access to regional culture.
