If you’re one of those who prefer to spend New Year’s Eve in the capital of Paraná, you can’t deny that the city’s empty streets make it seem like there’s no one around. But the good news is that this is far from true, and Curitiba offers a series of options for New Year’s dinner, which will please those who prefer to place an order, to those who like to leave the house.

O Good Gourmet selected some establishments that offer supper, to prove that Curitiba does have a New Year. But it’s good to run, see! Many places require reservations, which are already running out.

Zapata Mexican Bar

Zapata Mexican Bar will hold its New Year’s Eve party from 8pm on 12/31, with a themed menu, unlimited drinks, live music and ecological fireworks displays. The reservation price is R$495 per person, and includes the Mexican sequence, open of beer, non-alcoholic drinks and one sparkling wine per table. On the menu, the sequence has pastelitos, taquitos, tacos It is fajitas, with repetition at will. For dessert, the options are strawberry bonbon, chocolate mousse and banana pie. Children under 5 years old do not pay, and children aged 6 to 14 pay R$247.50.

Lellis Trattoria

Lellis Trattoria has a special menu prepared for New Year’s Eve, also available for delivery. The options are suckling pig with rice, farofa and fries (R$ 240); Brazilian-style sirloin with rice, farofa and fries (R$ 210); Lellis-style torteloni (R$ 176); house-made raviolloni (R$ 183); and roast leg of goat with ruddy potatoes and broccoli (R$ 243). In addition to the special menu, the traditional house menu will also be available. Lellis does not make reservations for New Year’s Eve dinner.

Gianttura Ristorante

Gianttura offers a special menu exclusively for orders, with dishes such as roast turkey stuffed with moist farofa (ten to twelve people), Beef Wellington (four people), stuffed suckling pig porchetta (five to six people), beef shank pork (eight to ten people), lamb shank (five to six people) and grilled cod (four to five people). There are also options for side dishes and desserts, such as chicken sausage and pavlova.

Opera Art

The New Year’s Eve party at Ópera Arte, Ópera de Arame’s restaurant, starts at 9pm on 12/31. The event features charcuterie, dinner, desserts, drinks, sparkling wine and disco. Prices range from R$950 to R$1150 per person. Dinner starts at 10pm, with dishes such as Saint Peter fillet in almond crust, mignon escalope with marchand du vin sauce, roast pork tender with mustard and honey sauce, roast pork shank with glazed sauce and buffalo mozzarella agnolotte .

Pantucci

Pantucci’s New Year’s Eve menu offers eight meat options, eleven side dishes and ten dessert options. The highlight is the stuffed chester, but pork shank, Beef Wellington, lamb shoulder and French toast are also on the menu.

Grand Mercure Curitiba Rayon

The Grand Mercure Curitiba Rayon hotel has a special program for New Year’s Eve, with dinner served from 8pm to 1:30am on 01/01. Dinner includes an antipasti table, main dishes, desserts, non-alcoholic drinks, sparkling wine, beer and white and red wine. The price per person is R$780 for adults and R$390 for children aged 7 to 12. Children under 7 years old do not pay.

Stoneware Gastronomy & Emporium

Grés Gastronomia offers a variety of options for starters, main dishes, garnishes and desserts to order during the New Year. The menu offers options such as Smoked Chicken Salpicão (500 g), for R$65, Rice with Almonds (500 g), R$49, Burrata with tomatoes and figs, for R$99, and a portion of hummus of smoked beetroot (100 g), for R$19. Pork ribs (1kg) cost R$199, while roast pork loin (1kg) costs R$189.

Saint Germain

The Saint Germain bakery has a special menu for orders during the New Year, and is normally open on 12/31 and 1/1. The menu offers options for antipasti, starters, side dishes, meats, sauces, pasta and desserts.
