CBF talks to Juan, former Flamengo defender

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) wants to have Johnformer player and current manager of Flamengoas coordinator of the Brazilian Team. Conversations are already underway.

Juan negotiates the final details to leave Flamengo. The director worked normally at the club this Thursday (8) and was at Ninho do Urubu. The hammer hasn’t been dropped yet, but there’s a good chance it will happen. Flamengo is already aware of the interest. The club awaits the final decision from Juan and the CBF.

His name was suggested by Dorival Jr. They worked together at Flamengo in 2018 and in 2022.

Juan retired in 2019 and has since held a few positions at Flamengo. Before leaving, his role was to be a link between the cast, coaching staff and management.

Fabinho Soldado was another loss for Flamengo recently. He was a football manager and accepted a proposal from Corinthians to be the department’s executive at the club.

President of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, defined restoring the national team department as a priority. He managed to accumulate functions, but gave up after being removed by court decision.
