Broker testifies to the PF and denies having harassed Moraes – 07/16/2023 – Power

Realtor Alex Zanatta Bignotto, 27, denied to the Federal Police that he had harassed Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the STF (Federal Supreme Court), at the Rome airport on Friday (14).

Bignotto was heard this Sunday (16), from 10am to noon, at a PF unit in Piracicaba (SP).

“Alex denies any involvement,” said attorney Ralph Tórtima Stettinger Filho, responsible for the broker’s defense.

The others involved, businessman Roberto Mantovani Filho and his wife, Andreia Munarão, will be heard on Tuesday (18).

Mantovani told Sheet that the PF was at his house at 6 am to subpoena them, but that, as he and his wife had a trip to a grandson’s birthday in Santa Catarina, they will give testimony later.

The PF launched an inquiry to determine the circumstances surrounding the approach to Moraes and his family, including verbal attacks directed at them and a possible attack on the magistrate’s son.

Those responsible addressed to the member of the Supreme Court and president of the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) expressions such as “bandit”, “communist” and “bought”, according to information gathered by the investigators.

Moraes participated in an international law forum held at the University of Siena in Italy. He was a member of the Constitutional Justice and Democracy panel, which was also attended by Minister André Ramos Tavares, who is also a member of the TSE.

Moraes has become Bolsonaro’s main executioner in the judiciary in recent years, commanding inquiries that affect the former president in the STF.

He also commanded the TSE in the 2022 elections and in last month’s trial that ruled Bolsonaro’s ineligibility until 2030.

Moraes has already been the target of insults by Bolsonaro, who, in the last two years, has already referred to the minister as a “tramp” and a “scoundrel”.
