Brazil will host the biggest breaking championship in the world, the Red Bull BC One, created in 2004.
The modality is new for the 2024 Olympic Games, in Paris, and mixes elements of hip hop culture. There are athletic movements, including spins, jumps and lots of music. Dance battles are called cyphers.
Practitioners are known as B-Boys and B-Girls. In the Brazilian edition, four cities will host the competitions in knockout format, consecrating four winners, two from each category, female and male, to compete in the final in São Paulo.
The cities are: Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Belém (PA), Brasília (DF) and São Paulo (SP), which will host the last stage on July 22nd.
The winning B-Boys and B-Girls will go to Paris to represent Brazil in the Last Chance Cypher, which will bring together the other champions in the category around the world.

Paris 2024
At the Olympic Games, breaking will take place at La Concorde, on August 9th and 10th, 2024. The event will feature 16 B-Boys and 16 B-Girls who face off in one-on-one battles to a song that is chosen at random by DJ.
