Bolsonaro ignores PF and calls supporters to act in São Sebastião

Former president Jair Bolsonaro ignored the Federal Police’s decision to reschedule the date and location of his hearing and called supporters to an event in the city of São Sebastião, on the coast of São Paulo, on the day he was to give his testimony.

Through his WhatsApp broadcast list, Bolsonaro informed supporters that he will be in the city on the afternoon of February 7, when his hearing was scheduled for an investigation investigating alleged harassment of humpback whales in the region.

“The 7th, Wednesday, at 3 pm. The testimony was postponed, but… (sic) I will still be in São Sebastião. Let’s meet”, wrote the former president in the WhatsApp message, to which the column had access.

As the Paulo Cappelli column reported in Metrópoles, the PF postponed Bolsonaro’s testimony until the end of February and moved the hearing to the capital of São Paulo, after mapping demonstrations in favor of the former president in São Sebastião.
