ACM Neto helps build Kim Kataguiri’s plan for SP – 02/03/2024 – Panel

Former mayor of Salvador (BA), the secretary general of União Brasil, ACM Neto, is helping federal deputy Kim Kataguiri (União-SP) to draw up his government plan for São Paulo City Hall, amid uncertainty about the path the party will take in October’s municipal elections.
Neto is contributing to issues such as housing, with programs to renovate precarious housing, land regularization and public-private partnerships for the construction of furnished buildings for the vulnerable population.
He also gave guidance on urban planning, on the LED lighting program, and on education, with the proposal to purchase places in the private network to make up for the deficit in the municipality. Another topic that ACM Neto gave advice on was the revitalization of the historic center.
The help from the secretary general of União Brasil comes at a time of uncertainty about what direction the party will take in October.
A wing led by the president of the city council, Milton Leite, defends that the party supports the re-election of mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB). Allies of ACM Neto and federal deputies, on the other hand, support Kim’s name in the dispute — he scored 8% in the Datafolha survey published last August.
