The federal deputy Dorinaldo Malafaia revealed on the program ‘LuizMeloInterview’ (Diário FM 90.9)on the morning of this Friday, the 15th, that the Amapá bench is evaluating the possibility of requesting the creation of a Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) to investigate the issues relevant to the successive adjustments determined by Aneel in the electricity tariff for Amapá residents.

The parliamentarian noted that the fight against the high electricity tariff paid in Amapá is no longer limited to him or one or another deputy or senator, but is already incorporating the entire bench, because the issue took an unexpected dimension with the extraordinary readjustment the day before yesterday. determined by the electrical energy regulatory agency – 44.41%.

Dorinaldo Malafaia announced that next Wednesday, 20th, to discuss electrical energy in Amapá, there will be a meeting of the state’s federal parliamentarians with the minister of mines and energy, Alexandre Silveira. The governor must also participate in the meeting. Clécio Luís.

In the interview, Malafaia cited comment made by deputy Acácio Favacho, at a recent public hearing, reporting on a large loan taken out by CEA Equatorial, from Basa, and that the energy concessionary company would already be passing on the debt payment amounts to consumers in Amapá.

“This is something profound that we are evaluating. What is certain is that regulatory agencies created such a level of autonomy that they now have much more power than the system. It is absurd that the federal government does not have control over the energy sector throughout the country”, criticized the parliamentarian.
