Athletico will have closed doors against PSTC due to fights

The Plenary of Paraná Sports Court of Justice (TJD-PR) accepted the sentence conversion decision and the duel between Athletico and PSTC, this Saturday (3), at 6:30 pm, for the sixth round of Paranaense 2024, will have closed doors.
The punishment is due to fights between male fans that took place around the Ligga Arena during the game against Galo Maringá, last Saturday (27) – inside the stadium only women, children and people with disabilities were allowed. Videos of the clashes circulated on social media and were decisive for a new complaint.

The TJD-PR Prosecutor’s Office had also requested another punishment game (against Cascavel), understanding that the penalty was not worth it against Galo Maringá, and a fine of R$100,000. However, the auditors denied increasing the sentence.
It is worth remembering that, with the trial taking place this Thursday (1st), the club would also not have enough time to make tickets available to fans against the Alvorada do Sul team, following the requirements of the Fan Statute, which requires 72 hours before departure.
This way, the game between Athletico and PSTC will not have an audience, but fans will be able to return to the red-black stadium as normal against Cascavel on Wednesday (7), at 8:30 pm, for the seventh round of Paranaense.
