The State Government supports the program that celebrates Civil Police Day in Amapá, on April 21st. In addition to lectures, tributes and dances, several sporting activities are attracting the public, including the Shooting Tournament, which opened registrations for 100 places. The competition is scheduled for the 26th.

The event is coordinated by the State General Police Station, Civil Police Union (Sinpol-AP) and the Amapaense Tactical and Sports Shooting Center (Catte). Registrations can be made in person until the 23rd, from 8am to 1pm, at the Sinpol headquarters, located at Avenida Cora de Carvalho, 3161, Santa Rita neighborhood, in Macapá.

According to the union president, Alexandre Verçosa, The shooting tournament will promote integration between civil police officers and guests from the Security Forces operating in Amapá.

“It is a modality inherent to the police officer’s activity, and is included in the program in honor of the civil police officer. This is a moment of fraternization between the category and other public security professionals, and with the aim of promoting sports in the state”highlighted Verçosa.

The competition will have 6 categories, divided into male and female: active civil police officers; retired civil police officers; guests from other public security bodies with the privilege to carry firearms and CACs (Collectors, Hunters It is Sports Shooters).
