Adventure Circuit at Bioparque attracts lovers of adventure and overcoming – News of Brazil

There is no doubt that practicing sports and contact with nature are among the best things for our physical and mental well-being. And why not combine the two? Bioparque da Amazônia proposes the ‘Adventure Circuit’ for those who like to collect memories and overcome challenges.
The company Amazônia ao Extremo is linked to adventure tourism in Amapá and has been responsible for the circuit since 2019 in Bioparque. The route has four activities, including the climbing wall, tree climbing, suspended trail and zip line. According to the owner, Marcio Castro, people as young as three years old participate in this challenge.
“We have clients who work out a lot and who come to do tree climbing because it requires strength, but on the climbing wall, suspended trail and zip line the audience is of all ages. There is no age limit; For example, we have an 87-year-old client who makes our trip more than once a month,” he said.
To make everything a pleasant experience, the company has special equipment to take care of the person who is carrying out an activity. “We use the helmet, sanitary cap, the rappel chair (boldrie), the anchor tape and the metal part. Our material is always reviewed, as we are dealing with lives. Everything is completely safe,” said Marcio.
The company has 12 employees working in the four activities and one of them is Henrique Gabriel, an adventure instructor. According to him, people’s challenges make him enjoy what he does even more.
“What makes me enjoy being a driver is seeing the challenges our customers face on the circuit. I like extreme sports because of the challenges we have within us, the fears that need to be faced, and contemplating nature. All of this encourages me to enjoy adventures and lead them”, he said.
The entire team undergoes training so that they can lead people on adventures and rescue techniques. To participate in the activities, you must follow some recommendations. “People need to wear closed-toe shoes; removal of accessories such as large earrings, bracelets, chains and piercings; be over three years of age; and wear lighter clothing”, explained Marcio.
The benefits brought by sports are widely known, both for the body and the mind, and can be enhanced through more radical sports, which bring out new emotions and sensations in those who practice them.
For those who want to feel adrenaline and contemplate a beautiful landscape, the adventure circuit is held at Bioparque da Amazônia, which operates from Wednesday to Sunday, from 9am to 5pm, and is located on Rodovia Josmar Chaves Pinto, South Zone of Macapá.
