For the same reason, the main Brazilian teams are superior to their South American rivals. There is no technical difference between national teams. Argentina is world champion. Brazil and Argentina will always be among the candidates to win the world title.

The patriotic speech of many that players and fans need to unite to recover the passion and global prestige of Brazilian football does not correspond to reality. The athletes are very proud and pleased to play for the national team and the fans will be euphoric again when the Brazilian team wins and shines.

The Brazilian team lacks midfielders who are at the level of the best in the world in that position. Those who played against England are very good, they are used to the intensity of English football and can improve. It is essential to give more importance to the midfield and have more control over the ball and the game.

Left-back Wendell performed well in marking and supporting. The analysis that there is no longer a need to have excellent supporting full-backs because the Brazilian team has top-quality wingers is not justified. Doubles on the sides are important. In the 2022 World Cup, the Brazilian wingers did not shine against Croatia because they were very well marked and because they had no help from the full-backs.

Regardless of the performances and results of the friendlies against England and Spain, there are several alternatives to tactically organize the team, according to the moment and the opponent.

Brazilian football needs to evolve on and off the field. We are hostages, seduced by the audience, by the media world, by the best moments, by excessive repetition, by the overvaluation of images and by individual, sporadic moves, as if isolated moments represented the whole, the whole.

It is the society of spectacle, of haste, of the rapid creation of heroes and villains, which likes to consume, celebrate and discard more than football.
