46th Interdistrict Football: Selective moves Matapi District – News of Brazil

Last weekend, January 20th and 21st, Macapá City Hall held another stage of the 46th Interdistrict Men’s and Women’s Football Tournament in the Matapi District, which brought together 20 teams, 15 men’s and 5 women’s.

Those classified for the championship final were the women’s teams: community of Santa Luzia da Pescada and Areal do Matapi; and male: Ariri and Curralinho community.

In this edition of the tournament, teams from the districts of Carapanatuba, Fazendinha, Coração, Pedreira, Bailique, Tracajatuba, Santa Luzia, São Joaquim, Maruanum and Matapi participated.

There will be around 170 teams from the 10 districts participating in the tournament, competing for places in the final stages of the championship scheduled for March 22nd to 24th at the Glicério Marques Sports Complex, in Macapá.

46th Interdistrict Tournament

The football tournament is held with the support of the Municipal Secretariat for Mobilization and Popular Participation (Semmopp) and resources from former deputy Leda Sadala. At the end of the event, the champions will receive prizes consisting of medals and a sum of money. Those classified in each selection will also be awarded prizes.
