Youth Cultural Games encourages sports in Pedra Branca do Amapari – News of Brazil

With support from the Government of Amapá, the Youth Cultural Games begin this Friday, 12th, in Pedra Branca do Amapari. The program features musical performances and sports in eight disciplines such as marathon running, beach soccer, volleyball and basketball.

The games aim to provide participants with moments of relaxation and interaction, enabling young people’s interest in sporting activities to grow, in addition to being a moment of social inclusion and encouragement for social development in all segments.

The project is carried out by the Municipality of Pedra Branca do Amapari and also has the support of Senator Randolfe Rodrigues. For the municipal secretary of Youth of Pedra Branca, Binho Santana, this is a unique moment, where all the youth of the municipality come together to practice the sports.

“Together, we can carry out enjoyable programming, promoting culture. We thank Governor Clécio Luís and the State Secretariat for Youth for their support. We are together to build public policies”highlights the manager.

The initiative aims to encourage the practice of as many sports as possible, in order to encourage sporting development and strengthen the Olympic movement in the municipality. Check out the modalities offered in the program:
