Young Leaders: Course aims to develop leadership and entrepreneurship in students

Manaus (AM) — The Development of Young Leaders Vacation Course, a partnership between Colégio Connexus and Singulari, was launched this Wednesday (31), aimed at students aged 14 to 18. The program aims to prepare new leaders in the Amazon and the activities, coordinated by facilitator Ina Pongelupe, will take place at the headquarters of the consultancy company located at Avenida Umberto Calderaro, 346, Adrianópolis, Up Mall.

According to Suelen Scop, executive at Singulari, the Holiday Course takes place, initially, over two days, with a workload of six hours. However, the initiative continues throughout the year in a more extended format that will serve as a curricular complement for students. She highlights that the pillars of the program are self-knowledge, emotional intelligence, leadership and entrepreneurship so that young people can develop critical, analytical sense, communication, solutions and innovation.

“The Summer Course is a kind of tasting of what we will do in the year, which is to work on these fundamental pillars to help young people be more prepared to enter the job market, so that they can have this outlook for their professional future”,

“Both the summer course and the ongoing program are an opportunity for these young people to develop behavioral skills that will help in any area of ​​activity they want to pursue.”

The director of Colégio Connexus, Gustavo Jinkings, reinforces that the course emerged as a proposal to develop necessary skills for today’s young people in an integrated way with the school’s curriculum. He points out that students from any educational institution can participate in the activities.

“Furthermore, we believe we are in a different position on the planet, the Amazon, and we see many people discussing the Amazon outside of here. The proposal is that we can develop leaders from the Amazon for the world and not just bring leaders from abroad here”, says the manager.

“The idea of ​​joining Singulari was to use the experiences and knowledge of the consultancy, adapted to the ages of our students and, thus, from an early age, plant a seed that will be watered throughout the 3 years of High School to be delivered to their families. careers and future planning.”
