UNDERSTAND THE ACCUSATION
A 23-year-old accused Daniel Alves of having sexually assaulted her at the end of last year.
The crime reportedly took place on December 30, 2022 at a nightclub in Barcelona.
Last Friday (19), after Dani Alves gave testimony about the case, the Spanish judge Maria Concepción Canton Martín ordered the arrest without the right to bail.
The Brazilian’s contradictions in his versions would have been one of the main reasons that supported the judge’s decision.
Dani Alves had his contract terminated with Pumas (MEX) for just cause.
The Justice continues to investigate what happened, taking testimony from witnesses, carrying out the expertise of the place and evaluating the medical examinations. He faces up to 12 years in prison if he is found guilty.
