Manaus (AM) – The poet, chronicler and short story writer Pedro K. Calheiros will launch the book “Chronicles of a chronic poet” by Villa Editora, this Wednesday (11), at 7:30 pm, in the auditorium of Faculdade Santa Teresa, located on Rua Acre, 200, neighborhood Nossa Senhora das Graças, Central-South Zone of Manaus.
Moving through everyday themes such as romantic relationships, his love for the city of Manaus, friendships and the mourning caused by the early loss of his father, professor and lawyer Francisco Calheiros (1968–2020), the work is a collection of chronicles published in the last two years, in “Espaço Liberdade”, from the traditional and historic Jornal do Commercio.
“The launch of this book is the realization of another dream and I couldn’t be happier. It will be a great pleasure to share this moment with friends, different gyms and readers”,
highlights the young author who will publish his third work.
The preface of the work is signed by Rui Machado, renowned artist, poet and composer from Amazonas. “It is an honor to be invited by Pedro Calheiros to write the preface for another of his books!”, declares Rui, emphasizing the relevance of this launch in the contemporary literary scene.
