Women are more than 36% of the managers sworn in this Friday, the 13th, for the first echelon of the Government of Amapá: of the 49 technicians, 18 are women. They will command some of the main management portfolios, such as the Health and Education Secretariats; the State Comptroller General; the culture; the communication; the Health and Social Assistance Foundation.
Female participation at the head of public bodies is a hallmark of Governor Clécio Luís’ management, since the time he was mayor of Macapá.
For the governor, increasing the presence of women in the first level of government is to allow society to feel represented, since women are the majority among the population. “We are in this search and in this motivation, so that more and more women assume positions and spaces of power”, emphasized Clécio Luís.
