There are still protests over the lack of cold water to drink, wi-fi and the quality of the food. A prisoner from Santa Catarina said he had been eating only fruit, juice and everything since last Sunday.

Others demand even more space in their cells. One of the prisoners said he was in a space with ten people, and only eight could fit. The judge contested that in prisons there are usually 32 prisoners where eight can fit.

By Sunday (15), 1,248 people had already been heard in custody hearings by federal judges of the Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region ((TRF-1) and state judges of the Court of Justice of the Federal District and Territories (TJDFT). coordinated by the Corregedoria of the National Council of Justice (CNJ).

Due to the number of prisoners, lawyers have been on standby to get clients. On average, they offer an audience for R$1,000.

The task force started on Wednesday (11). The work will be forwarded to the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes who can maintain the prisons, release them or even decline jurisdiction, case by case.
