Pointing out that health is for everyone, the mayor doctor furlan made it clear, on the morning of this Tuesday, the 17th, that it will only be able to maintain the operation of the Instituto Macapaense de Pediatria (Imp), to be inaugurated soon, if it has the support of the state government and the amapaense parliamentary group.
The municipal manager spoke during breakfast with the press, at the city hall, from where he later left with secretaries, councilors and journalists for the Impe under construction in the place where the Subprefecture of Macapá – North Zone, on the right bank of the BR-210 used to work. . The work is almost to be completed.

According to the municipal secretary of works, Cassio Cruz, that was at breakfast, for the Instituto Macapaense de Pediatria to be delivered, R$ 14.2 million are being spent, an amount arising from a bench amendment articulated by the senator David Alcolumbre.
The mayor doctor furlan, then clarified that the money used in the construction of the imposes it was originally intended for the covid center in Macapá. “With the decrease of the pandemic, we changed the focus and with the consent of Caixa Econômica Federal, we are building the Instituto Macapaense de Pediatria”he pointed out.
THE imposes will be aimed at people aged 0 to 14 years old with urgency and emergency care and of small, medium and high complexities. There will be no hospitalization. On this, the mayor spoke again about government aid: “We will not have hospitalization at the institute. Thus, we hope to have state regulation for the transfer of children and adolescents”.
Reinforcing the appeal, doctor furlan recorded that the Instituto Macapaense de Pediatria it will be a unit with a high monthly cost, hence the need to discuss with the Government of the State of Amapá (GEA) and with the parliamentary bench, “because health is for everyone”.
