For the second round of Superliga B, Manaus Vôlei returns to the court next Saturday (20)

Manaus (AM) – Manaus Vôlei / Nilton Lins / Hien Kan’s journey into the 2024 men’s volleyball Superliga B began, with support from the City of Manaus, through the Manaus Sport Foundation (FME).

The local fans attended the Nininberg Guerra gymnasium, in the São Jorge neighborhood, and watched the Manauara team’s defeat by 3 sets to 1 against Natal América-RN, in the competition’s debut, last Saturday night (13).

Although the result on the court was not initially positive, the CEO of FME, Aurilex Moreira, highlights the participation of the population in the gym.

The movement to promote the sport is important for fulfilling the calendar of actions of the ‘South American City of Sports’ for 2024, a title that the city received from Aces Europe.

“It is one of the phases of the ‘South American City of Sports’. We are bringing Superliga B to Manaus. We have this team that is already present, attending and participating in the competition. We will have six home games, which make up the City Hall’s calendar of support actions, which is very important for the city to get involved with sport, participate, support”,

said Aurilex Moreira.

In this first phase, which ends in March, the Amazonian club will play ten more games, the other six at home.

For the second round of Superliga B, Manaus Vôlei returns to the court next Saturday (20), for the first challenge as a visitor, against Brasília Vôlei, in the federal capital, at 5 pm (Manaus time).
