“I want to thank you, Governor, on behalf of the population of the city of Manaus, for your look at the city, your look towards the well-being of those who live in the great metropolis of Manaus, the capital of the Amazon. We are united to improve the quality of life of the people of the city of Manaus”,

said the mayor of Manaus, David Almeida.

The head of the State Secretariat for Urban and Metropolitan Development, Marcellus Campêlo, spoke about the importance of the project. “This agreement will guarantee that the city of Manaus will receive the water and sewage works that will be carried out through Prosamin+. The State will build six pumping stations and will connect this structure to a sewage station that will be built by the concessionaire on land donated by the Government of Amazonas”.

The term includes the Special Projects Management Unit (UGPE), which coordinates Prosamin+ actions and is part of the structure of the State Secretariat for Urban and Metropolitan Development (Sedurb); the Águas de Manaus concessionaire; and the Regulatory Agency for Delegated Public Services of the Municipality (Agemam).
