– Episode of the 15 Minutos podcast talks about what the government’s proposal that regulates driver work via apps envisages
*) It was with celebration in Brasília that President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) launched, last Monday (4), the complementary bill that regulates transport work via apps.
Among the main rules presented by Planalto to regulate the profession are, for example, guidelines for working hours, for minimum payment per working hour for drivers and, also, rules for workers’ social security contributions.
There is no exact employment relationship between workers and companies. There is, indeed, an idea of regulating work. Even so, there is already criticism, especially among opposition parliamentarians. They accuse, for example, the proposal of “stifling market freedom” in Brazil.
In this episode of 15 Minutes podcast We explain what exactly this government proposal that regulates driver work via apps envisages. The guest is the Rose Amantéa, from the Economics team at Gazeta do Povo.
