The statement was given shortly after a meeting held with members of the Liberal Party in Brasília, where they met shortly after arriving in the country. According to the former president, the strongest action against him is the meeting he held with ambassadors last year. The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) has been asking for the shelving of other processes in it that is cited, such as those related to the Covid-19 CPI.

“The issue of the TSE, the party’s lawyer is dealing with this matter. I don’t see materiality in anything. The strongest action was the meeting I held with ambassadors in the middle of last year. I don’t see why. The policy for dealing with ambassadors is my own, I see no reason to want to judge myself ineligible”, he said in an interview with Jovem Pan.

Still during the interview, the former president classified the camps in front of the barracks shortly after last year’s presidential election as a “spontaneous movement of the population”, but condemned the invasion and depredation of the headquarters of the Three Powers, in Brasília, in the January 8th.

According to Bolsonaro, the “CPMI will come clean and show who was wrong or not”, mentioning that the government had the necessary signatures for opening the commission days after the acts, but that a crusade was started to try to remove them from the application. .

In a private meeting with supporters and allies, Bolsonaro criticized the lack of an armored car at the airport reception, which would have been removed by the government’s Civil House. He also said that, in the 2018 election, he had 40 Federal Police agents available, which did not happen now.
