The governor Clecio Luis warned the population, this Monday morning, the 22nd, that the situation in Amapá is very serious, caused by the outbreak of respiratory syndromes, and that therefore it is necessary to resort to vaccination, personal care and avoidance of crowds, the the only means capable of containing an even greater spread of evil.
“We are losing a child a day, 52 are intubated and 170 are hospitalized. Admissions take place at Hospital de Santana, Vila Amazonas, Hospital da Criança e do Jovens, at PAI, Maternidade Bem-Nascer and at Maternidade Mãe Luzia”lamented the ruler, also informing that the syndromes had already killed two elderly people.

He spoke of the lack of pediatricians, believing that soon the University Hospital will take action to contribute to the fight to solve the serious problem.
