War industry will pay homage to Múcio and Alckmin – 03/31/2023 – Panel

The main representative of the national war industry, Simde (National Union of Defense Material Industries) will honor the Minister of Defense, José Múcio, and the vice-president, Geraldo Alckmin, with the Mursa award, which is granted to outstanding personalities in the area.
The justification is Múcio’s action to “pacify the country”. In Alckmin’s case, because “it symbolizes the realization of a broad and progressive arc of alliances”.
The honor is named after General Joaquim de Souza Mursa (1833-93), a pioneer in the field during the Empire.
In previous years, former president Michel Temer and former Bolsonaro government ministers Augusto Heleno and Braga Netto were honored.
The award will be presented on April 12, during Laad, a conference on the defense industry that takes place in Rio de Janeiro.
